The project was to create a twenty page newsletter, impose it and print it. The target audience for the newsletter was Millennial moms 30-35 who visit sites like Pinterest, enjoy watching the Food Network, are very gregarious and love to have any reason to host a small party with close friends.

The idea was to appeal to the feminine target group. I used bright, soft, feminine colors throughout the publication, a color scheme often found on Pinterest party posts by women with a passion for parties and social celebrations.

The title, The Not So Everyday Soirée, was a hybrid of, and play on, the idea of a sophisticated, high–end party celebrated in an intimate and relaxed manner of the kind the target audience would be inclined to throw. This quarterly issue focused on fun, physical, in and outdoor party activities in the form of treasure and scavenger hunts for folks of all ages.
